YANGON, Nov. 13 (Xinhua) -- A moderate earthquake measuring 4.8 on the Richter scale struck Myanmar's new capital of Nay Pyi Taw on Tuesday, according to Nay Pyi Taw Hydrology and Meteorology Department. The epicenter was determined at Nay Pyi Taw, 56 km south of Nay Pyi Taw and 22 km west of Swar township, the sources said. With a depth of 15 km, the quake happened at 08:23:04 local time (01:53:04 GMT). So far, there is no immediate report of casualties and damage to properties.
